Hudson Effect [Part 1]

Years ahead, during the routinic check in one of the disaster and risk assesment centers west of the states, a strange value in one of the indicators raised an alarm. A new unknown phenomena was happening, part of the sun was splitting and moving out to space, immediately a meeting was called for by top rulers of the globe.
It was estimated that this portion of the sun would walk by the earth in a close range within a few years causing a huge increase in temperature and a complete change in climate, sea and wind behaviour causing millions of casualities and changing earth to a non inhabitable planet.
The meeting resulted with one decision the usage of contenguency plan X-CON-21 agreed upon by the board of international risk assessement committee a few years before. The plan was put to action right after the approval, it was straight forward, simply the design of an empty space carrier with a virtual reality system simulating the real world in every sense of the word. A list of rich connected people was compiled and their virtual reality suits were being made. The plan was day before the take off these people would be visited by soldiers at night, they will put them to sleep and when they wake up next day they will find everything the same except they aren't really in our world anymore, they are up there in the space ship wearing special suits that makes them feel, see, touch, smell and even walk just as if they were in the real world. They won't know it, otherwise they will turn made in minutes and won't find anything to do or eat for the next number of years.
Millions of poor and of less political value were left behind, the disaster happened and the damages wereb't as expected. A number of people managed to live the aftermath. They lived to discover they were left behind with nothing, nothing but ruins, rebels, burnt plant and land, with nothing else to do they gathered on one thing, revenge. It was a long trip to the base constructed deep underground that monitored and connected with the space ship.
