Vertical or Horizontal

The way I see it, we are splitted into two groups. People who push civilization horizontally and others vertically. Fields like Media, Cinema, News, Services, Enforcers and others are all filling our lives horizontally, they are reporting, transmitting, providing with minimal development but increasingly widening mass of users covering the life terrain horizontally. On the other hand, scientists, engineers and developers are leveraging the standards, scopes, possibilities and abilities everyone can make use of and fall within. That's going with it towards the vertical limit where machines will be busy serving jobless humans that already piled up wrapping the horizon with their huge reproduction counts and food consumption levels.
